What specific problem are you solving?
Modern agriculture is caught in a vicious cycle: high chemical inputs degrade soil, reduce biodiversity, and contribute significantly to climate change. Agriculture accounts for 37% of global greenhouse gas emissions, and 90% of the world’s soils could be degraded by 2050. Despite increasing costs and environmental concerns, pesticide use has risen by 11% since 2014, yet farmer incomes continue to decline. The transition to agroecology, a farming approach that restores soil health and reduces chemical dependency, is essential. However, farmers face three major barriers: 1. A shift in mindset: Moving away from input-heavy farming methods; 2. New technical expertise: Understanding soil biology, plant resilience, and regenerative practices; 3. Financial and operational risks: Farmers fear losing productivity and profitability during the transition. For this transition to succeed, two things are crucial: 1. Mobilizing the farming community by sharing success stories, simplifying science, and providing real-time measurement tools. 2. Empowering farmers with real-time data, allowing them to adopt sustainable practices at their own pace while minimizing risks. Currently, farmers lack the data-driven tools needed to transition confidently. Traditional soil and plant analysis is slow, costly, and inaccessible, making decision-making reactive rather than proactive.

It measures pH, Redox potential, Brix, conductivity, and 12 nutrients, enabling farmers to make data-driven decisions without relying on expensive lab tests. But Nutriscope™ goes beyond simple measurement by translating complex science into actionable insights through: * A Stress Index that detects plant stress before visible symptoms appear. * An AI-powered Decision Support System (DSS) that simplifies agronomic data into practical recommendations. Using near-infrared (NIR), visible, and ultraviolet (UV) spectroscopy, Nutriscope™ analyzes how plant leaves absorb light, providing real-time diagnostics. Its AI engine, backed by scientific research and expert agronomic knowledge, converts raw data into clear, practical recommendations, allowing farmers to improve crop management, optimize inputs, and detect plant stress early, even without technical expertise. Nutriscope™ is already calibrated for key crops like rapeseed, wheat, corn, tomato, and grape, with a growing pipeline of additional crops under calibration. Work is underway to expand Nutriscope™’s capabilities to soil analysis and food nutritional quality, further enhancing its role in regenerative agriculture and transparent food systems.
