Yolia Health’s True Vision Treatment (TVT) is a noninvasive, drop-based therapy often called “Invisalign for the eyes.” It pairs customized gas-permeable contact lenses with enzymatic eye drops to gently adjust the shape of the cornea and improve vision. The process is simple: patients wear the lenses and apply the drops for just 3 to 7 days. After that, their vision...

What specific problem are you solving?
Globally, billions of people suffer from refractive errors including myopia, hyperopia, presbyopia, and complications from previous eye surgeries. Myopia alone, accelerated by increased screen time, indoor lifestyles, and poor nutrition, is expected to affect half the world’s population by 2050, creating a significant public health emergency. Presbyopia makes matters worse, inevitably impacting everyone with age and severely reducing the quality of life due to impaired near vision. Current solutions like glasses, contact lenses, or surgical interventions are costly, invasive, inconvenient, and often inaccessible, leaving more than 60% of those affected inadequately corrected. Yolia Health offers a revolutionary solution called True Vision Treatment (TVT). Using specialized contact lenses worn for just 3-7 days along with proprietary eye drops, TVT gently reshapes the cornea, correcting vision without surgery. It effectively addresses presbyopia, myopia, hyperopia, post-surgical vision issues and even slows the progression of myopia. TVT is highly scalable and far more affordable than existing alternatives, enabling global access. Regulatory approval is straightforward, as all TVT components have existing approvals globally, including FDA clearance. TVT offers an unprecedented opportunity to improve vision, enhance lives, and tackle this global crisis effectively.
What is your solution?
Yolia Health’s True Vision Treatment (TVT) is a noninvasive, drop-based therapy often called “Invisalign for the eyes.” It pairs customized gas-permeable contact lenses with enzymatic eye drops to gently adjust the shape of the cornea and improve vision. The process is simple: patients wear the lenses and apply the drops for just 3 to 7 days. After that, their vision remains corrected for up to 12 months no need for daily lenses, glasses, or surgery. The eye drops temporarily increase the cornea’s adaptability, helping the lenses guide it into a new, functional shape. TVT is safe, reversible, and repeatable, making it a great option for people whose vision may shift over time. It’s currently being used to treat presbyopia, and development is underway for myopia and hyperopia. Unlike LASIK and other surgical procedures, TVT is a low-risk and cost-effective alternative. And because the components used are already approved by regulators, it can be adopted quickly around the world by trained and certified eye care professionals. TVT is setting a new standard in vision correction—one that’s effective, accessible, and designed to adapt to patients’ lives.
Who does your solution serve, and in what ways will the solution impact their lives?
Poor vision severely limits quality of life, productivity, education, and economic opportunities worldwide, especially in developing countries. In nations like Vietnam, the growing myopia crisis, driven by increased urbanization and extensive screen usage, disproportionately affects communities already burdened by economic hardship. Individuals with uncorrected vision often struggle academically, face limited employment opportunities, and remain trapped in poverty. Yolia Health’s True Vision Treatment (TVT) serves these vulnerable populations by providing an accessible, cost-effective, noninvasive solution for myopia, hyperopia, presbyopia, and post-surgical vision problems. Manufacturing costs are minimal, with contact lenses produced for less than $1 per pair (similar to the marginal cost of CDs decades ago) and enzyme based eye drops made inexpensively by pharmaceutical manufacturers. The simplicity of TVT’s production enables rapid global scalability. Contact lens manufacturing can be outsourced easily to local labs, which already exist in virtually every region globally, while the enzyme drops require only a single, central pharmaceutical supplier. By dramatically reducing barriers of cost, accessibility, and infrastructure, TVT empowers individuals with clear vision, improving their education, employment opportunities, economic stability, and overall quality of life, generating transformative impacts across entire communities.
