What specific problem are you solving?
We are solving the problem of limited access to affordable, reliable technology, particularly laptops and smartphones, in underserved communities in Kenya. Many individuals, including students, small businesses, and low-income households, cannot afford new devices, which restricts their ability to access education, employment, and digital financial services and solutions.
This digital gap also limits digital literacy, hindering people from fully participating in the digital economy and accessing opportunities like online work, e-learning, and financial solutions and management tools. As a result, many people remain excluded from vital digital resources that could enhance their economic opportunities and overall well-being.
What is your solution?
Our solution is to provide affordable, high-quality refurbished laptops and smartphones to underserved communities in Kenya. We source used devices from the US, UK, EU, UAE, and Kenya, refurbish them to high standards, and sell them at affordable prices, making technology accessible to individuals who otherwise couldn’t afford new devices. We also source parts from China to ensure that the refurbished devices meet the required functionality and quality. This approach enables people to engage in online education, remote work, digital skill development, and access to digital financial services.
By offering affordable, reliable technology, we empower students, small businesses, and low-income households to improve their livelihoods and bridge the digital divide. Additionally, we contribute to sustainability by reducing e-waste and supporting the circular economy. Our repair services extend the life of devices, further ensuring that people have access to functional technology, enabling long-term economic resilience and financial independence.

Our solution serves students, small businesses, low and middle-income households, freelancers, new young employees, and small and medium-sized organizations in Kenya, which constitute 70% of the market. These individuals and organizations are underserved due to the high cost of new technology.
