The team has developed a handheld, point-of-care (PoC) spirometer that is both patented and approved by US FDA and suitable for use in health care settings and at home. This device is complemented by Cloud-enabled mobile apps that store complete patient histories, exacerbation records, and test data, ensuring continuity of care. This integration improves medication adherence and promotes a symptom-free life for patients. Additionally, the population health management dashboards enable policymakers to focus on specific areas, using anonymized data to formulate long-term strategies to address the rise in respiratory diseases post COVID-19 and due to increasing air pollution.
