What specific problem are you solving?
The World Economic Forum estimates that 1 billion people require re-skilling. Given a lack of available re-skilling resources in alignment with the market needs, the skills and digital gap is widening. This gap is characterized by unequal access, benefits, and opportunities and disproportionately impacts refugee and disadvantaged individuals. Currently, 60% of migrant professionals are underemployed, working in roles not commensurate with their skill potential. This exclusion not only impacts individual economic mobility but threatens broader social integration and workforce diversity. Professionals without access to continuous upskilling and digital/AI literacy programs risk higher rates of unemployment and the inability to secure higher-level employment, exasperating existing social barriers.
Meanwhile, 76% of businesses report significant challenges in finding highly-qualified talent and job-seekers are struggling to meet employer’s expectations. Meanwhile, it is estimated that Millennials will spend nearly four years of their lives applying for positions.
The economic and human cost of these barriers is evident.
