What specific problem are you solving?
Wide Therapy is tackling the global challenge of providing accessible and effective therapy for neurodiverse children, especially those with autism and intellectual disabilities. With approximately 1 in 36 children diagnosed with autism worldwide, families face significant barriers in accessing timely and appropriate care. Studies show that 29% of children with autism experience healthcare access problems, including long delays in receiving services. The shortage of trained professionals leave providers and families struggling with long waitlists and fragmented systems. Wide Therapy’s innovative digital platform bridges these gaps by offering personalized, interactive therapy that children can engage with at home, reducing the need for intensive, one-on-one interventions. By empowering children to practice life skills in a safe, gamified environment, it not only boosts their confidence and independence but also alleviates the burden on caregivers and therapists. This solution helps children overcome challenges and unlock their potential, making effective, accessible therapy available to families worldwide, when they need it most.
What is your solution?
Wide Therapy is a digital platform that helps neurodiverse children, especially those with autism, learn essential life skills by seeing themselves succeed from the ages of 2 and across the lifespan with all leaning abilities. It uses interactive, AI-driven simulations where children can practice tasks like following routines, brushing their teeth, or even preparing for medical procedures—all in an engaging, digital environment. The platform is designed to be used anywhere, anytime, so children can practice at their own pace, with the support they need. What makes Wide Therapy unique is that it empowers children to see their own progress, helping them feel confident and in control. This builds their independence and reduces anxiety. For caregivers and therapists, the platform reduces the strain of intensive one-on-one interventions, making therapy more accessible and efficient. It’s a simple, powerful solution that puts children’s growth and well-being first—giving them the chance to overcome challenges and thrive, no matter where they are. Who does your solution serve, and in what ways will the solution impact their lives?
At Wide Therapy, we focus on neurodiverse children, particularly those with autism and intellectual disabilities, who often face immense challenges in their daily lives. These children struggle with basic tasks, social interactions, and compliance with medical procedures, which can create anxiety and a sense of helplessness for them and their families. Despite the growing number of children who need support—many families still face long waitlists and lack access to the right care. In many areas, there are simply not enough trained professionals to meet the demand, leaving children without the support they desperately need. Our solution meets these children where ever they are, offering a personalized, interactive platform that allows them to practice life skills in a safe, supportive environment. By using AI-driven simulations, children can see themselves succeed, building confidence and independence. This approach reduces anxiety and helps children gain essential skills, all while alleviating the burden on caregivers and therapists. With Wide Therapy, we are giving neurodiverse children the opportunity to thrive, regardless of where they live or their access to professional care.
