Our team would use a cloud platform to connect the blood pressure meter to a station where there is automatic alert to medical nursing staff. It helps those people living in remote area to monitor their health by these wearable. It achieved less manpower to monitor a lot of clients with medtech.
Continuous care intervention will carried out by analysis these blood pressure data. If abnormal data is logged, an automatic message will be sent to the staff concern. The staff can evaluate the clinical data and take necesary actions.
What is the problem you are solving?
Elderly whom lives in the community is common with hypertension and other chronic illness. These illness needs to be monitor continuously. However, those blood pressure data is not connected to medical nursing professional. All those data can help for early diagnosis and early intervention.
The scale can be large. As hypertension has a prevalence of 56% in Hong Kong and nearly the same in the developed countries.
Who are you serving?
The people we are serving is the people with age over 65. This is our main target group.
The other group is people with age from 55 to 65.
What is your solution?
A Bluetooth blood pressure is placed at client’s home. Data are collected through the mobile network. A station with server and a program AI help to analysis automatically and send report for medical and nursing to take necesary actions.
The system can also gives feedback to client to help them to have a healthy lifestyle, by providing tailor made exercise video and diet suggessions.
A report can also generated for client next consultation to hospital or other medical institute.
