What specific problem are you solving?
Indonesia faces a critical learning crisis. Data shows that over one-third of 15-year-old students struggle with basic science comprehension, while more than 70% fall below the minimum competency level in mathematics. In reading, 27% can only handle the most basic comprehension tasks. These numbers reflect a deeper issue: students are not engaged, motivated, or equipped with the tools they need to learn effectively. At the heart of this problem is a mismatch—between how students learn and how schools teach. Traditional learning environments and outdated teaching methods fail to resonate with today’s digital-native generation. Classrooms often lack interactivity, relevance, and the ability to spark curiosity. As a result, many students lose interest in learning and fall behind academically. Wiyata Nawasena directly addresses this issue by transforming learning into an immersive, engaging, and gamified experience within a 3D virtual world. It bridges the gap between students' digital lifestyles and their education—turning passive learners into active explorers. By using modern technology that students already love, Wiyata Nawasena reignites their motivation and helps them build critical skills in science, math, and reading—while enjoying the process.

Who does your solution serve, and in what ways will the solution impact their lives?
Wiyata Nawasena is an immersive virtual world designed for K–12 students and their teachers, bridging the generational gap in education. Our platform combines engaging, game-like learning experiences with academic content, motivating students to explore, collaborate, and learn more effectively. At the same time, it equips teachers with tools to better capture students’ interest and enhance learning delivery. Today’s students are digital natives, accustomed to using technology in all aspects of life. Unfortunately, many schools still rely on traditional teaching methods that fail to align with students’ digital habits. This disconnect often leads to reduced motivation and disengagement from learning. Wiyata Nawasena addresses this challenge by bringing education into a familiar digital environment, allowing students to learn, interact, and grow in ways that feel natural to them. It creates a space where learning is both meaningful and relevant—bridging the gap between generations and transforming the way education is experienced.
