What specific problem are you solving?
Millions of people around the world spend years studying a language but still struggle to use it naturally. This is not just a matter of effort or time. It is a deeper problem rooted in how vocabulary is taught. Most learning systems ask students to memorize word lists or definitions without understanding how words are actually used. Without context, words remain abstract and disconnected from real meaning. This leads to shallow learning, weak language skills, and a lack of confidence. The problem is even worse in communities with limited access to personalized tools or high-quality educational resources. Learners are often left with methods that do not match how the brain truly learns. The result is a global gap between language education and real-life communication. It is a gap that continues to grow and holds back millions from expressing themselves and reaching their potential.
What is your solution?
ReadAI is a mobile application that helps users learn vocabulary by combining real reading experiences with cognitive science. When a user taps and holds on a word while reading, the app shows both its dictionary definition and the meaning within that sentence. These responses are powered by a ChatGPT integration, which generates contextual explanations using AI. Users can also explore additional information such as example sentences with similar context, related terms, usage across different domains, synonyms and derivations, and metaphorical meanings for literary texts. Words can be bookmarked for later review and practiced through personalized quizzes. Quiz results are tracked visually in the Stats section. An AI-based feature called “Calculate Your Learning Curve” analyzes correct and incorrect answers over time and suggests optimal review intervals. The app supports multiple languages and allows users to set both a main and a translation language.
