Firearm safety continues to be a massive problem for the United States with growing incidents of gun violence.  In 2018 nearly 40,000 people died due to gun violence in the U.S. alone, the highest in 50 years. Seventy percent of gun violence is caused by unauthorized gun use leading to tragic, even fatal consequences every day. 

IDENTILOCK, a biometric gun trigger lock, solves this problem by providing gun owners with secure, portable and immediate access to their firearm. Unlike a mechanical gun trigger, IDENTILOCK provides rapid, simple fingerprint access. In 2018 nearly 40,000 people died in the U.S. alone, the highest in 50 years. In the first four months of 2019, there had already been 4,525 reported deaths caused by gun violence. This number continues to grow with the latest incident at School, Highlands Ranch, Colorado. There is no greater 'recognized need' than that to protect future generations at home, school, and on the streets.   

Even though years of research and funding have been invested in improving firearm safety, there has been little innovation. Smart guns have not made market entry for a variety of reasons. Gun safes, while in use, are heavily criticized over cost and limiting access to firearms in case of an emergency.

To date, Sentinl Incorporated has sold 3,500 IDENTILOCKs, (this number continues to grow every day) with 2,800 units sold in 2018 alone to overwhelmingly positive reviews from gun enthusiasts and owners. These e-commerce sales have resulted from early distribution deals with Cabelas, Amazon, Glockstore.com, OpticsPlanet, and several industry wholesalers, including Zanders. The IDENTILOCK has received 4.5-star ratings on most websites, and only handful units have been returned.  These high ratings, combined with positive reviews and tutorials by actual users on social media, have resulted in significant sales coming from referrals. Our focus continues to be innovation, a minuscule percentage of the annual budget has been deployed for marketing.

Boasting the industry's fastest & most reliable fingerprint identification technology, IDENTILOCK recognizes the user's fingerprint and grant the firearm owner access to the handgun in about 500 milliseconds, which is as fast as the blink of an eye.

Setting up an IDENTILOCK is quick and straightforward. Each IDENTILOCK includes a charging cable, a unique pair of keys, an instruction manual, and an unparalleled commitment to gun safety. Enrolling a user requires unlocking the IDENTILOCK using the keys and pressing the Enroll button to record fingerprints. The biometric fingerprint technology is engineered to enroll up to three authorized users, a master profile of the gun owner and two other authorized users. For each user, eight fingerprints of the index finger are recorded to ensure accuracy and timely authorization. Thus by grasping the firearm with the index finger held out in a safe position, the fingerprint sensor identifies the user and releases the trigger lock.

The IDENTILOCK is maintenance free with a long life battery that can be charged using either the cable provided or any USB-C cable for 2-3 hours.  On standby, the IDENTILOCK needs to be charged once a year and every 4-6 months with daily use. If the battery completely discharges, the gun owner can gain access using the unique dimple keys. Shape Memory Alloy Is used on the space shuttles to reduce weight and for consistency in function.  It is used in the airbags mechanisms of our cars for the same reason. We used it in IDENTILOCK for reliability and to increase the speed of the release mechanism.  It is a brilliant design that, instead of using mechanical parts to actuate a mechanism to release the lock, Shape Memory Alloy simply reacts to a small electric charge by quickly shrinking and actuating the release mechanism with no motor. 

The fingerprint reader used by IDENTILOCK is better than what Apple uses on the iPhone. It is twice the (scan-able) size and is specially coated so it will function even when fingers are slightly wet or oily.  IDENTILOCK has been designed for speed with the understanding it will be used in the most urgent situations a family might face. IDENTILOCKs biometric fingerprint reader is intentionally placed in a natural indentation on the side of the device, just below the trigger guard so releasing it is a natural part of picking it up, acquiring a target, preparing to fire… and it falls off.

The shape of an IDENTILOCK is it’s most brilliant function.  It’s a clamshell, with a custom designed clamp that fits exactly over the trigger guard.  It is designed to fall off your weapon and for single-handed use. Press the fingerprint reader and as ones draws weapon to address a threatening force it falls away, in less than one second.

According to Everytown Research “ 36 percent of child and teen gun deaths are suicides—over 1,000 per year.11 And firearm suicide has been rising dramatically: Over the past decade, the firearm suicide rate among children and teens has increased by 76 percent.12 For people of all ages, having access to a gun increases the risk of death by suicide by three times.13 Research shows that an estimated 4.6 million American children live in homes with at least one gun that is loaded and unlocked”. 

Gun owners want instant access under stressful situation. Our customers have submitted hundreds of testimonial that mention IDENTILOCK is the only solution that solves this problem. We’re already saving lives with thousand of units already in customers home preventing innocent kids from accidental discharges and suicides.

We currently have around 4,000 existing customers. We expect to increase the number of customers to 10,000 (total) by the end of the coming year. In five years we expect to be serving millions of customers each year.

Currently we have over hundreds of orders we are unable to fulfill since currently we don't support c firearm. Our goal for next year is to support three additional lines of firearms and cover over 90% of firearms within next five years. In the process we plan to improve our supply chain with decrease price of this life saving technology.

Despite growing interest and pressure from retailers, potential consumers and even major players to sign further distribution deals for the IDENTILOCK we have been unable to meet demand. Our team prides itself in being an ethical company and realizes that the we do not have the financial resources to support additional firearms to meet demand.  We foresees the demand for IDENTILOCK to continue to see rapid sales growth.

The immigrant inventor, Omer Kiyani is a safety systems engineer with time in nuclear power and designing advanced air-bag control systems with Bosch. He is a gun owning parent, gunshot survivor and thus a passionate advocate of responsible gun ownership. He left a successful career in the automotive industry to make America a safer place. Kiyani founded a company and dedicated his life to developing the world’s most advanced gun lock device that blended speed, usability and practicality with unmatched safety and security. After several years in development, IDENTILOCK was born.

Today Kiyani has market credibility with successful growth product, access to distribution network and growing technology and manufacturing partners across the globe allowing him to innovate. He was born to do this.

We manufacture innovative technology product and retail them on our e-commerce site to consumers and also sell to other retail businesses.

Each sale we make is a profitable sale. This includes cost of goods, plus cost of sale and shipping related costs. We're looking to increase our volume to gain higher profitability.
