The Problem: Intermittence—the availability of a resource—is the biggest challenge facing renewable energy. For example, solar energy has already been capped in some regions, being sold at noon at a negative price for grid energy management. Wave energy is abundant and stable, but its high development cost limits its deployment around the world.

The Solution: WAVE BEAT is an innovative wave energy retrofit solution that transforms coastal breakwaters into clean power plants, decarbonizing exposed sea facilities and ensuring green energy worldwide. WAVE BEAT is breaking the high cost barrier to become one of the most competitive wave energy technologies in the world. Through existing infrastructures exposed to the sea, Wave Beat is three times more competitive in CAPEX and twice as competitive in OPEX than any other wave energy technology in the world. It is also four times more stable compared to solar.

What specific problem are you solving?
Intermittence is the biggest challenge facing renewable energy. Solar for example has been already capped in some region in the World (sold at noon at a negative price for grid energy management). Wave energy is abundant and stable, but its high cost of development limits its development around the world (from 700 patent only few has been transformed into physical device, and no one still able to crack the cost limitation).
What is your solution?
Our technology WAVE BEAT is cracking the high cost limitation, to be one of the most competitive wave energy technology in the World. Through using existing infrastructures exposed to sea, Wave Beat is 3 times more competitive in CAPEX and 2 times in OPEX than any other wave energy technology in the World, it is also 4 times more stable compared to solar. Who does your solution serve, and in what ways will the solution impact their lives?
Exposed to sea infrastructures generally, and maritime industry specially are our targeted client. Following Paris Agreement resolutions, the International Maritime organization has defined a very challenging carbon tax plan to achieve net zero emissions by 2050 in maritime industry. For that, ports are now hurrying to define their renewables share target to reduce their emissions and avoid losing traffic. But solar and wind due to intermittency are not sufficient. They could use battery, but still very expensive. WAVE BEAT provide a stable and suitable solution to solve this issue.
