As a film student at Howard University, Ajani led a student/faculty group that supported the early development of Arts2Work. Since his graduation, Ajani has been leading business development and mentor recruitment efforts for Arts2Work throughout the media industry. He is also developing independent projects, including an Afro-futurist anime film called a Boy With No Name and a feature, Kings of Babylon. Ajani's short film Crispus screened at the Kennedy Center, PanAfricain de Cannes, Newark IFF,  and other festivals.  He is the recipient of a Princess Grace Award Film Honoraria.
