Besan Abu-Joudeh is a Palestinian-American, who recently moved to Palestine with the dream of creating economic opportunity. In 2016, she co-founded BuildPalestine, a ‘crowdbuilding’ platform that allows everyone to contribute to a better tomorrow through crowdsolving and crowdfunding. The goal is to create a trusted platform that empowers grassroots problem solving by mobilizing 12 million supporters around the world for positive change in Palestine.

She graduated from the Huntsman Program at the University of Pennsylvania and completed an MSc. In Development Economics at SOAS. Previously, she worked with the Office of the Quartet in Jerusalem and the Global Business Policy Council in Washington D.C.
