Drew leads strategy and growth for Macro-Eyes, a machine learning technology company for global healthcare operations and clinical predictive analytics. He is also the Principal Investigator (PI) for macro-eyes Gates Foundation funded initiative to create a predictive supply chain for vaccines in East Africa, and a World Affairs Council Fellow. Previously he was a Principal with Strategic Leadership Services at Providence St. Joseph Health; Director of International Business Development for a privately-held global logistics organization; research consultant for Global Good/Intellectual Ventures; and co-founder of Biokick, a startup web-based platform focused on attracting private funding to mid-stage life-sciences research. Drew earned his MBA and Global Business Certificate from the Foster School of Business at the University of Washington, International Crisis Negotiations Certificate from the Jackson School of International Studies and U.S. Army War College, and a BA in Philosophy from the University of Portland where he played on the Division I top 20 nationally-ranked soccer team. He also completed graduate courses in International Rural Development from the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS). Drew spends his free time on the farm where he grew up, woodworking, riding horses, mountain biking, and trail running. He also enjoys photography (both taking and curating photos), listening to and playing music, traveling, and spending as much time as possible with his wife, Breese.
