Drew Edwards

Co-Founder, Board Director, Pangea Educational Development

Drew Edwards is a social entrepreneur with international development experience across sub-Saharan Africa and the Middle East. He has spent his career working in education with children in post-conflict and crisis settings. He Co-Founded and serves as a Board Director of Pangea Educational Development, a social enterprise supporting learning in primary education in Uganda. He lead Pangea when the organization served as a former LEAP Project Host.

Edwards has spoken on education, migration, and development for several platforms and programs, including UNESCO, NPR, SXSW, and Cornell University. He holds a Master's of Education (M.Ed.) from Harvard University, a certification in Child Protection from the Harvard FXB Center for Health and Human Rights, and a former Qatar Foundation WISE Learners' Voice Program Fellow on refugee education. He earned his Bachelors from DePaul University where he was awarded the St. Vincent de Paul Award, the university’s highest student honor.
