Ellie Moriearty

Senior Officer, Learning, MIT Solve

Ellie Moriearty is Senior Officer for Solve’s Learning Community. In this role, she helps support Solve’s community of Solver teams, Members, and partners to generate and scale solutions in the global learning and education space. She is driven to find opportunities to ensure everyone’s right to an education and to support continuous learning and development.

Before Solve, Ellie was Vice President of Program Development for Mindr, a social enterprise that creates a sense of belonging in global organizations by building employee communities, mentorship programs, and technology-based solutions. Ellie holds a MPA in Development Practice from the Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs and a BA in Economics and Human Rights from Barnard College. As a graduate student, Ellie worked as a consultant for organizations like Kantar Public in Nairobi, Kenya and for Innovations for Poverty Action on projects related to education, health, gender, and governance in East Africa.

A Cambridge native, Ellie enjoys re-discovering her old neighborhood, volunteering to support local organizations and movements, and heading north to hike and ski New Hampshire’s White Mountains.
