Fernando is a recognized leader in Latin America and a specialist in the digital transformation process. He has been recently acknowledged as one of the 100 EdTech influencers in the world by the EdTech Digest magazine. Fernando had held relevant executive global positions in his 30 years of professional life, such as Director of Services and Consulting for Hewlett Packard Latin America, Vice President of EDS, President of Ticketmaster/GCi, President of Peppers and Rogers Group, President of Relacom Latin America, President of Cengage Learning Latin America, and President of McGraw Hill Latin America.

Additionally, he has been linked to education for over 28 years as a professor and director. He has consolidated a platform for projects destined to transform education in Latin America.

He is an advisor for many educational projects and has been distinguished for promoting the Edupreneur movement. He has been a mentor for entrepreneurs in Endeavor, Impact Hub, Mass Challenge, StartUp Mexico, and Connovo, among others. He founded Linnea, the first education innovation laboratory, through a collaboration between government and public initiative in the University of Chihuahua. He played professional soccer for Necaxa and Toluca teams.

Adicionalmente ha estado vinculado a la educación por más de 28 años como docente y directivo en instituciones como. Actualmente ha consolidado una plataforma de proyectos destinados a transformar la educación en Latinoamérica. Es consejero de diversos proyectos educativos y se ha distinguido por promover el movimiento Edupreneur, como mentor de emprendedores de Endeavor, Impact Hub, Mass Challenge, StartUp Mexico, Connovo, entre otros. Fundó Linnea, Primer Laboratorio de innovación educativa a través de una colaboración Público-Privada con la UACH. Fue futbolista profesional en Necaxa y Toluca.
