Inés Serra studied architecture at UPC in Spain and UFRJ in Brazil, completed with a double degree in civil engineering at VIA, Denmark, specializing in energy (2016). For her final thesis, she analyzed soil and understood it’s the origin of life and has to be preserved. Serra completed internships in China (2016) and at a renewable energy company in Germany (2017). The following four years were spent working as a strategy consultant at Deloitte (2017) and McKinsey (2021). Serra earned an MBA at IESE and Duke-Fuqua, launching BIOSORRA, a social startup that provides affordable fertilizer for farming and captures CO2 out of the atmosphere.
