Jessica James is the senior manager and program officer for GM’s Climate Equity Fund and Disaster Relief efforts. She is leading the development and implementation of a long-term philanthropic strategy that invests in community-based solutions to help ensure that GM’s transition to an all-electric future leaves no one behind, while also supporting communities on the front lines of climate change adapt and build resilience.

Jessica joined GM in 2012 and has spent her career in communications. Most recently, she led GM’s sustainability communications work, including the company’s announcement to become carbon neutral by 2040.

Jessica earned a Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations from Wayne State University.
