Linda Henry

Managing Director, The Boston Globe

Linda Henry serves as the chief executive officer of Boston Globe Media, a growing multimedia organization with a mission to strengthen local journalism by investing in innovative new products and services to connect people, ideas, and causes. She is a four-time Emmy-award winning television producer, children’s book author, and community leader. She is also deeply engaged in sports as a partner in Fenway Sports Group, an investor in the WNBA, and a Limited Partner in Boston’s new NWSL team. 

Linda serves on a number of boards and non-profits. She is a director of the Red Sox Foundation and the Penguins Foundation, trustee of the Liverpool Football Club Foundation, chair of the Boston Globe Foundation, and chair of the John W. Henry Family Foundation. She is on the advisory boards at the Shorenstein Center at Harvard, The Engine @ MIT, Digital Content Next, and the Women’s Foundation of Boston. With a passion for local food, she is a founder of Boston Public Market and Fenway Farms. 

She earned her undergraduate degree from Babson College, and went on to get a Master's degree from MIT in Real Estate Development and a Master's in Public Administration from Harvard University at the JFK School of Government. She was recently awarded an honorary doctorate degree from Babson College.
