Mason Grimshaw

Member of the Rosebud Sioux Tribe, MIT Class of 2018

Mason was raised on the Rosebud Indian Reservation in South Dakota, and is a graduate of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology with a bachelor's degree in business analytics. He is currently a candidate for a Masters of Business Analytics degree from the MIT Sloan School of Management. A member of the American Indian Science and Engineering Society, he also works to provide college admissions advice and assurance to native students who think attending college could be a good option for them. He is very passionate about improving Native American lives, and works with MIT to that end, especially as it relates to MIT Solve and the Oceti Sakowin Fellowship. He enjoys serving as a bridge between the Fellows and MIT, and providing perspective to both sides.
