Michelle R. Weise leads Strada Education Network’s workforce strategies, specializing in disruptive innovation and the future of learning and work. As the Chief Innovation Officer of Strada Institute for the Future of Work, Michelle researches how to connect adult learners more directly to meaningful employment pathways throughout their working lives.

Before joining Strada, she designed and led the Sandbox ColLABorative, the innovation lab of Southern New Hampshire University. Sandbox was an extension of Michelle's former work as the Senior Research Fellow in higher education at the Clayton Christensen Institute for Disruptive Innovation. There, she co-authored a book with Clayton M. Christensen about how online competency-based education will revolutionize the workforce and disrupt higher education titled, Hire Education: Mastery, Modularization, and the Workforce Revolution. Michelle is a former Fulbright Scholar and graduate of Harvard and Stanford. She currently serves on MA Governor Baker’s Commission on Digital Innovation and Lifelong learning.
