Taewee Kahrs

Officer, Health Community

Taewee (she/her) serves as Solve's Health Community Officer. By facilitating relationships between social entrepreneurs and leaders all over the world, she aims to contribute to meaningful transformations of global health and well-being. 

Taewee has been active as a facilitator, an activist, an advocate, and a transdisciplinary researcher over the past decade; specifically focusing on healthy relationships, sexual & gender-based violence, sexual & reproductive health justice, and meaningful youth participation in social health policy and programming. Outside of Solve, she continues to work and train as a full-spectrum doula. 

Taewee holds a B.S. in Community and Nonprofit Leadership, a B.A. in Gender and Women's Studies and a certificate in Global Health from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in the U.S.A. She also received her MScR in Global Health Research at the Vrije Universiteit van Amsterdam in the Netherlands.
