Taylor Nelson is an entrepreneur, user experience researcher, and systems thinker. As a UX Researcher and Strategist for Green Stone, she leads, designs, and executes impactful qualitative and qualitative research that delivers meaningful insights. As the founder of Telson Creative, she creates engaging designs and people-centered systems for the modern workforce. Previously Taylor was the Vice President of Knowledge Dissemination at the Solutions Journalism Network (SJN), a nonprofit focused on spreading the practice of rigorous journalistic reporting on responses to social problems. Taylor spearheaded the design, development, and expansion of the Solutions Story Tracker: a database of 12,000+ solutions stories produced by 6,000+ journalists and 1,600+ news outlets, from 187 countries. She designed and implemented SJN’s strategy for news consumer engagement, and led teams to develop products and partnerships that enabled thousands of people to be part of an online community passionate about solutions to social problems. She is a graduate of the College of William and Mary where she majored in Sociology and Community Studies.
