Thierry Déau is a graduate from the French Ecole Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées. He founded Meridiam in 2005 and has overseen its growth to become a firm of over 80 professionals in five countries with currently €5 billion of assets under management. Prior to founding Meridiam, Thierry was the CEO of Egis Projects, a leading international project developer and operator and subsidiary of the French Caisse des Dépôts et Consignations (CDC). He is also currently chairman of the Long Term Infrastructrue Investor Organization (LTIIA), which he has co-founded, and an Investment Committee member for the European Fund for Strategic Investment (EFSI). He is member of the World Economic Stewardship Board on Shaping the Future of Long-Term Investing, Infrastructure and Development, and President of the Archery Foundation.
