Tom Taylor

Senior Vice President, Alexa, Amazon

Taylor is Senior Vice President for Amazon Alexa, where he leads the teams working on building Echo devices and the Alexa Voice Service that powers them. His teams are also responsible for the Alexa Skills Kit and Alexa Voice Service, which are tools that allow device makers and developers to build new experiences with Alexa. Previously, Taylor was Senior Vice President, Amazon Seller Services, where he led Amazon Payments and Fulfillment by Amazon, which he helped launch in 2006. Prior to Amazon, Taylor spent 15 years in Manufacturing and Plant Management at General Motors and K2 Skis. Taylor completed his Dual Master’s Degree program at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where he received his Master’s in Management and Mechanical Engineering. He has a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Virginia Tech.
