In response to Who are your solution’s competitors? Describe what makes your solution different from theirs.

Regarding disposal - you note that yours is easier and safer to dispose of - how so? Is it simply because it's smaller and more flexible? What makes it safer to dispose of? Would this be considered medical waste?

Dr. Wisam Breegi

Great question! We have spoken with medical recycling companies to help us cut down on waste and ensure our products are sustainable as we scale up as a leader in this segment. Our patented NPS is uniquely designed to have a closed base with controlled patient access port. This will help not only to control the spread of contaminants, but to be able to close the head port during the removal of the NPS from the patient head. By doing so, we create a closed bubble with negative pressure inside the NPS, while the negative pressure suction is still on, the NPS can safely collapsed and disposed of as a biohazard. All FDA EUA cleared devices are bulky and their supportive frame is built-in with an open base, this will create two dangerous problems during use and removal (the FDA recognized that in writing to us): 1- their open base will leak contaminants during use and more so during collapsing their device for removal (contaminated air pushed our of open base) 2- having the supportive frame fixed permanently makes their device bulky and will not fit in any standard biohazard bags.
Our NPS has an easily removable external frame, which makes it easy to collapse and compact to dispose off in any standard biohazard bag.

In response to Please explain in more detail here.

Can you explain more about your last paragraph and what you mean here - our need for support to optimize our software and hardware for the NPS respiratory support and data collection.

What is the software support needed - do you have custom software?

What is the data collection you are seeking?

Dr. Wisam Breegi

As proprietary information we cannot reveal a great deal, however we are developing a custom software platform as part of the detachable hardware component to control the internal NPS microenvironment, monitor patient vitals and improve patient outcomes. We would love to have subject experts to help us to test and optimize our current system and application according to our specifications. In addition, we would like developers to help us optimize the appropriate codes for the our system and applications.

In response to How are you measuring your progress toward your impact goals?

I think you meant our goal :)

Our goat

Dr. Wisam Breegi

Yes, I meant our goals. I apologize for the typo. We certainly do not have goats :)
