Who are you serving?

Of the 1.3 billion Africans, up to half of them live in poverty (47 percent of the African population is living on $1.90 or less a day).

Lack of adequate infrastructure and lack of knowledge are two major obstacles that impede mass connectivity. These barriers limit individuals' capabilities in what they can do and what they can achieve in accessing technology. Some individuals can connect, but they do not have the knowledge to use what information ICTs and Internet technologies provide them.

With the rapid grow

What is your solution?

ubuplay is a smartphone powered app that brings together impact driven apps, supported by a set of hardware devices under one hood. Through monitoring (peer-to-peer/peers-to-ubuplyAgent) and analytics, users are then rewarded (depending on user engagement and performance) with virtual currency points "Berries" which are used to further access services and products digitally on the platform or within the community; or purchase them "Cherries" using legal local currency.
