As the founder of Promena VR and VR Therapy and Counseling Center, Thomas has been using virtual reality as a tool in the treatment of mental health disorders since January of 2015. He has sought to push the boundaries of current technology in order to create solutions that overcome the many challenges and limitations clinicians face in providing effective and efficient treatment. In forming Promena VR, he has integrated his background in psychology, cognitive science, and computer science to create VR-based solutions that can be customized to meet the needs of each individual in treatment.
